On March 19, 2025, Sughra Saadat, Board of Directors member at Afghanistan Women Foundation (AWF), participated in the ‘Gender Equality – Unfinished Business’ panel discussion, co-hosted by the G7 Gender Equality Advisory Council (GEAC) and Women 7 (W7). The event focused on advancing gender equality in a challenging global context, with a special emphasis on Afghanistan. Sughra Saadat represented AWF in highlighting the ongoing struggles of Afghan women, who continue to be marginalized and excluded from key decision-making processes. AWF remains committed to advocating for the rights and inclusion of Afghan women in global discussions.
