On Sunday 21 Jun 2026, members of our community gathered in front of Parliament Hill in Ottawa to raise our voices for the women and girls of Afghanistan , demanding formal recognition of gender apartheid and calling on the international community to end any form of support or legitimacy toward those responsible for the suffering of the Afghan people, and Afghan women in particular.

We will not stay silent while the rights, dignity, and freedom of Afghan women continue to be stripped away. Our voices, together, are a form of resistance ,  and we will keep raising them until justice is served.
