AWF PATHWAY TO THE FUTURE
A Mentorship & Capacity-Building Program for Afghan Women
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
ABOUT THE PROGRAM
Since August 2021, Afghan women have been systematically excluded from education, employment, and public life. Women who earned degrees now have nowhere to use them. Young women who were in school have had no path forward.

AWF Pathway to the Future is our answer to that silence.

This is eight-month online mentorship and capacity-building program for Afghan women aged 18–40, currently residing inside Afghanistan or neighbors countries . Through structured group sessions, individual mentorship, and practical skills workshops, participants build knowledge, confidence, and a concrete plan for their future – on their own terms, from wherever they are.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
WHAT THE PROGRAM INCLUDES

Phase One – Active Learning (Months 1–4)
Weekly group sessions with a dedicated mentor
Bi-weekly individual mentorship meetings
Two practical skills workshops per month covering:
· Leadership and decision-making
· Professional communication
· Digital tools for remote work (Google Workspace, Canva, and more)
· Introduction to AI and how to use it practically
· Financial literacy and personal planning
· English for professional settings
· Mental resilience and self-advocacy

Phase Two -Implementation & Follow-Up (Months 5–8)
Participants apply what they have learned through a personal capstone project – a goal or initiative they design themselves and present to the group by Month 8.
Lighter but continued individual mentorship supports them through this phase.
